About Far West Helping Foundation Corp
Far West Helping Foundation Corp (FWHFC) is a nonprofit organization committed to giving individuals and families a new start in life through food support, housing stability, healthcare assistance, life skills, employment readiness, community engagement, and essential human services.
Our Beginning
Far West Helping Foundation Corp was founded in the summer of 2010 by a group of individuals who believed deeply that “Everyone Deserves a New Start in Life.”
The organization began with a community-centered mission to serve individuals and families facing hunger, health challenges, unemployment, and hardship. Since its early work in the Metro Atlanta area, FWHFC has continued to grow its mission and expand its service approach to meet the needs of underserved communities.
Who We Serve
FWHFC supports low-income individuals, families, youth, seniors, and vulnerable community members who need access to essential services, guidance, resources, and opportunity.
Our work focuses on both immediate relief and long-term stability by connecting people to food assistance, housing support, healthcare guidance, basic life skills, employment readiness, and community-based resources.
